Summer Bishil (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1985) is an American actress, best famous for her character Margo for the role of Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired from 2015 until present. The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played 13-year-old Lebanese American teenager Jasira that goes through a tumultuous life as the U.S. attack on Iraq during the Gulf War. The following year she was voted among Variety's 10 Actors To Watch. The role she played was another one of her most memorable characters Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 action drama Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female lead category. The actress has also appeared in a number of films, including the Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on television apart from playing the co-lead in Lucky 7.
